How Can I Lose Weight

Earlier I wrote about losing some weight and then gaining more back than you lost in the first place. I’d like to shed a little light on what is happening in the mind when you go through this.

You and I both know that we feel like crap when we lose some weight and then gain more back in a short time. I don’t need to write to you about that. There is something else that needs to be brought to your attention though.

Somewhere in the back of your mind is a decision that is hidden away nicely that comes from somewhere in your past. This decision is not really in your conscious awareness. It is just below conscious awareness but it has the power to control your body’s weight, shape and appearance.

Now you may ask; “Where does this decision come from?” It is actually pretty simple and maybe a bit strange but it can be shown to be true and to be changeable as well.

Now some people have the ability to change their minds very easily while others have a very hard time of it. Some of the power in that also comes from another decision stuck there in the back of the mind.

So here’s where it comes from. Some time in your past you made this decision when something significant happened to you. It could be that you thought to yourself, I want to be just like mom or dad or my teacher or that other person when I grow up. It doesn’t mean that you were talking about their body size. Maybe you were thinking about their intelligence or personality. But guess what? That part of your mind that holds that decision and makes it come true also places the body size and weight into the formula and you get the weight as an unwanted ad on.

Sounds kinda crazy doesn’t it? Well it is crazy. That part of the mind that you have the decision stored in and puts it into reality doesn’t think. It is automatic and just sends out the plans crazy or not.

So now you look at this and say Glenn your out of your mind and there is no way I decided to be fat when I was younger. You are probably right. You didn’t decide to be fat when you were younger. You decided to be like someone that you really liked and they were fat so you got the whole package.

It can even be stranger than this. It could be that you decided when people get to be a certain age or they do a certain kind of work or they have kids or they have some kind of operation or anything else you could possibly imagine “they get fat”.

Now, if you have this automatic and operating below your conscious awareness decision working in full throttle and then you try to lose weight just what do you think is going to happen?

When you lose weight this decision is going to make you put that weight back on and it is going to be done quickly and happen so quickly that it can’t just stop at the weight you were at when you first started to take it off. You roll right past the original weight in what seems to be an uncontrollable race to get back to the weight and size.

See now you weigh more than before you tried to lose weight.

Pretty much every weight loss program out there works just fine. What they don’t do is change this earlier decision so then when you are done losing the weight this decision throws it back on.

Right about this time I would be thinking; “Great! I’m stuck being fat”. If I were reading this and not the writer.

Well I also have a solution for you. I’ve searched far and wide to find a solution for this particular problem and I found just the right one.
